I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 41 in July 2019.  Anyone who has heard the words, “You have cancer” knows the feeling and the thoughts that run through your mind.  During the time of being diagnosed, I was recently divorced, lost my job, and health coverage.  All of this, within a two week period.  

Shifting through all the thoughts and images going through my mind.  There was one saying that calmed my nerves “Let God’s will be done”.  There were also two words that got me through it all, “Keep Going”.  I could not fall victim to my mind because it was going to make me stress.  I would mark on my calendar every treatment I had to endure,  every doctor’s appointment I had to go to, and every test result I had to listen to.  Everytime I finished a task I would cross it off and “Keep Going”.  Crossed out another one “Keep Going”.  Those two little words meant so much during my journey that when I finished I decided to develop an apparel line to help those who are going through whatever in life.  

ALL the proceeds from customized shirts and Keep Going shirt sales go to make shirts for cancer patients all across Georgia and hopefully the world soon.  We just want everyone to know this one thing. 

When life gets rough or seems impossible.  Nothing can happen if we stand still.  We must Keep Going to get to the better end.  Once we Keep Going, we can look behind us and see how far we’ve come and most importantly.  See what we have overcome.
